Housemade Bitters

House made bitters. Used both in cocktails and with various dishes to add flavor and depth. The vodka evaporates out leaving the flavor essences in the dish. In cocktails the bitters add depth of flavor.

Burnt Orange, Lemongrass, Hot Thai peppers, Key Lime Cardamon.

I forget to check muTableearth. Thanks for the postings. I realize that I am a good cook but not a chef. You are a wonderful,chef. Making good use of what is available . Just like the bitters. I guess there are lots of bottled products out there. I enjoy following your cooking explorations.
